Lachenalia aloides "Aurea" is a strong growing form and does well in the garden. In general terms it looks quite similar to L.'Pearsonii'.

It has spotted foliage, and occaisionally it will set some seed and from these subtly different coloured variants will sometimes appear in established clumps.
