L. "Pallida Blue" L.splendida.

Lachenalia "Pallida Blue" is probably a hybrid of L. splendida and may also be known in the gardening community here as L. 'Te Puke Blue', which is a seedline with a good and increasing reputation. The leaves are shiny with parallel veins and are either smooth or pustulate.

L. splendida tends to be darker and a little more reddish-purple, and fairly consistant, whereas L. "Pallida Blue" is variable in soft purplish pink and blue tones. The two plants I have display smooth palish green shiny foliage  with parallel veining.
